I love old photographs, they have so much charm, there is just something about them. When photography wasn't as widely accessible, each one taken was special. Digital photography is a great thing, but it doesn't evoke the feelings that these do. I love rummaging through second hand shops and finding old photographs, wondering who the subjects of the photo are, when was it taken, where were they, where are they now? But also, when the subjects are your own family, relatives that you don't know particularly much about, it is just as exciting and perhaps leaves even more to the imagination.
